Water Distribution Rack

Unit Water System (CAMEL)
After unloading the CAMEL will work immediately.

The CAMEL could also be constructed with the NATO hook lift
system
The load handling system consists of a 10 m3 ISO-framed tank rack
with an organic water pump. The tankrack have a filling stand, a
hose reel, and bulk suction and discharge hoses. The CAMEL has an
integrated thermal regulating module. This will enable the system
to operate in artic and in desert environment without preparation.
It will also chill water during hot-weather operations in order
to increase water palatability for the soldier. The CAMEL, when
full, is capable of being transported by C-130 and larger aircraft.
The CAMEL has a filling stand for jerry cans and canteens. It will
increase unit water storage, and decrease required spare parts.
The CAMEL enhances water distribution by providing one system that
enables both hard wall bulk water transportation and unit retail
water support. It allows for water transport directly from water
purification points to supported manoeuvre elements and can be used
as a water distribution point. The CAMEL is self driven and there
is no need for external support during use on vehicle or on ground.
