Laboratory
Uniteam’s standard Laboratory Shelter is a Uniteam ISO
20-foot Expandable 2in1 Aluminium Shelter with a total floor space
up to 25 m², but can also be delivered inside a 3in1 (38m²).
These Medical Shelters are developed together with the Norwegian
Army, and manufactured in Norway.
2o-foot ISO 2in1 Medical Aluminium Shelter.
The average mounting/demounting time of the shelter is 6-7 minutes
as proven in field by military users, and any single panel at the
expanding parts can easily be exchanged within 10 minutes.
The module is constructed within a fully insulated 20’ CSC Approved
and Certified ISO Shelter. The Shelter is re-usable multiple times,
with an in-service life of at least 15 years. The shelter is fully
CE marked.
The Shelter has an integrated machine room at one short end of the
shelter to accommodate Air Condition System and connection to external
services (power, water, communications).

Water in and outlet connections are provided to allow connection
and operation of all medical functions as well as support functions.
Additionally there is a 200 liter tank in the top of Technical Compartment
for storage of potable water to provide an initial autonomy regardless
of external water supply.
Uniteam also deliver laboratories in std 20’ ISO Steel shelter,
(can be based on a hooklift container, type ISO 20’,1C). This unit
is also CSC approved and can be transported by truck, sea, rail
and air.
The Uniteam Laboratory shelters can be delivered as totally independent
stand alone units, with or without external power supply, blood
bank facilities as well as necessary laboratory equipment for field
use: (Haemometer, Glucometer, Urin stix, Microscope, Centrifuge,
machines for Creatin, Electrolytes and blood gases.)
