Incinerator
The Uniteam incinerator solution enables camps to handle
their waste on an on-site basis. The complete incinerator is mounted
in a standard 20’ container, which makes the unit transportable
and deployable.
The most important element in the Uniteam system for environmental
management of military operations is an incinerator which can handle
the majority of the waste generated by the operations.
Especially important here are oil sludge and other waste materials
which are not suitable for deposits.
The unit consists of several container-tanks and containers used
as storage facilities for highly hazardous waste which is not suitable
for incineration and ash. In addition there are office facilities
for the crew.
The incinerator used by Uniteam operates within the requirements
of the European Union Council Directive 2000/76/EC of December 4th,
2000 on Incineration of Waste and the European Union Council Directive
1994/67/EC of 16 December 1994 on Incineration of Hazardous Waste.
Why use the Uniteam incinerator solution?
This is a compact well tested unit which is suitable for rapid
deployment all over the world.
The incinerator is capable of incinerate 3.84 metric tons of waste
per day, 1.92 metric tons of sludge plus 1.92 metric tons of other
waste.
The incinerator produces large quantities of heat which can be used
for various purposes.
